- Macroeconomic framework: population, GDP, greenhouse gas emissions
- Energy and resources: primary energy, renewables, electricity
- Target setting: net zero ambition, carbon neutrality, country vs. industry targets, CO2 pricing
- Context of the chemical industry: where are the major sources of greenhouse gases, and what are the main levers?
- Consequences and examples: BASF case studies, electrification
